Point this at your playerInfo.dat and it reads your real levels — labs, workshop, enhancements, ultimate weapons, modules, cards, guardians, relics and your last 30 runs — then ranks every available action across all of them by opportunity cost.
Corrected by 17 players from r/TheTowerGame who found things that were wrong.
Each ring is a tier. The arc is how deep you have run it — amber is the one you farm.
All of it read from one file, in this browser tab, and ranked against each other rather than one system at a time.
Two questions, both already answered from your save: are you farming or pushing, and are you running glass cannon, eHP or hybrid. Change either and the whole ranking moves with it.
This exists because of an honest limit. The engine compares return on investment inside a path, so it cannot tell you whether a lab-day beats a stone — nothing can, from a save alone. Rather than pretend otherwise, it asks which way you are going and ranks honestly within that.
Read from your save — your module preset is called “farm”, your typical run lasts 9.7h, and your Damage and Survivability scores are within 0.9 of each other.
THE PATH PANEL, ON A REAL ACCOUNT
No recommendation arrives as a verdict. Each one prints the model score it started from, every multiplier applied to it, and what each multiplier was for — including when the tool's own guesses were capped so they could not overrule you.
If a number looks wrong, you can see precisely where it came from. That is what turned the sceptics in the launch thread into contributors.
ON EVERY SINGLE RECOMMENDATION
Four domain scores, each one opening to show what it is made of — which parts, what each is worth, and how much of it you currently hold, biggest shortfall first.
A player whose regen labs are maxed and who is still told regen is his weakest area deserves to see that those labs are 22% of that score and recovery packages are 58%. This is that, and it came from him asking.
CLICK ANY BAR TO OPEN ITS WORKING
Coin costs are converted using income measured from your own runs, at the tier you actually farm, taking the runs that lasted about as long as your runs usually do.
A lab priced at thirteen months of farming should not sit near the top of anyone's list. Now it does not, and the row says why it moved.
INCOME FROM 5 RUNS OF ABOUT 9.7h AT T10
Scheduled against the slots you actually own and the speed-up you actually run — not a generic order. Run this one for eleven more levels, then switch.
It also holds back labs you have not unlocked yet, rather than planning a year of research you cannot start.
AT YOUR SPEED-UP, WITH YOUR SLOT COUNT
Two weapons on cooldowns of a and b coincide every lcm(a,b) seconds. The tool lists every owned pair, marks the perfect syncs, and prices the stones to the next clean one.
And it names what you give up. Dropping Golden Tower to 190s gains you one pair and breaks the Death Wave pair you already had — a trade that looks free if you only count them.
A PAIR WORTH PROTECTING
The save is playerInfo.dat — about 80 KB, gzip-wrapped, and it lives in the game's private app folder at
Android/data/com.TechTreeGames.TheTower/files/. Pick where you play:
Android/data/com.TechTreeGames.TheTower/files/playerInfo.dat somewhere BlueStacks shares with Windows — its Media Manager can export a file to your PC.First, in BlueStacks: Settings → Advanced → Android Debug Bridge, switch it on. This also finds LDPlayer if you have ADB on there instead.
Needs adb on your PATH (brew install android-platform-tools).
Either one drops the file in your Downloads folder.
LDPlayer has a shared folder that both the emulator and Windows can see. Anything you drop in the emulator's Pictures folder shows up on your PC.
Android/data/com.TechTreeGames.TheTower/files/playerInfo.dat and paste it into the emulator's Pictures folder. If your file manager cannot open Android/data, your LDPlayer instance is running Android 11 or newer — see the Android phone tab, the same restriction applies.
Straight answer first: LD Cloud is a phone running on someone else's server, and its file transfer only goes one way. You can upload files into the cloud phone, but there is no download back to your PC. So the file cannot simply be copied out. Two routes actually work.
Slower to set up once, but it works every time afterwards, and it gives you a real backup of your account.
playerInfo.dat out of Android/data/com.TechTreeGames.TheTower/files/This only works if the cloud phone's Android version still lets a file manager into Android/data. If it does not, use the route on the left.
Android has been steadily closing off Android/data, so what works depends on your version. Check Settings → About phone → Android version first.
A file manager that can ask for folder access — Total Commander, ZArchiver or MT Manager — can open the files/ folder in the path above, and you copy playerInfo.dat out to Downloads.
Same as above, but you may have to uninstall updates to Google's Files app first: Settings → Apps → Files by Google → ⋮ → Uninstall updates. Once access is granted it survives Files updating itself again.
The restricted Files app is built into the system and cannot be uninstalled, so ordinary file managers can no longer reach Android/data at all. Use one of the two routes below instead.
From a PC: turn on USB debugging (Developer options), plug in, and runadb pull /sdcard/Android/data/com.TechTreeGames.TheTower/files/playerInfo.dat
No PC cable? Use the cloud-save route on the LD Cloud tab — sign in with Google, Force Cloud Save, then load the account in BlueStacks or LDPlayer and pull the file there.
Type your numbers in instead. It is a weaker input than a save — the page will tell you exactly what it cannot work out — but it is a great deal better than nothing, and you can fill in more whenever you like. What you enter is kept on this device only, same as a save.
Everyone below found something real in the first days of this tool being public, on r/TheTowerGame. Most of what the page now gets right, it gets right because one of them said it was wrong. Named with thanks — if you are here and would rather not be, say so on the thread and you come straight off.
Signing in is a door, not an upload. Your save is decoded entirely inside this browser tab — the file itself is never sent anywhere, signed in or not, and the last one you load is remembered on this device only, so the page opens straight to your plan next time. The account exists so your history follows you to another device and so a plan can be shared with your guild: your saves stay local until you press the upload button, and the page tells you how many are going and where.
Only the first step is required. Everything you skip is treated as not yet bought, so a lab you leave blank is read as level 0 — fill in what you know and come back for the rest.
Your farming rate is what lets the page say “that lab is eleven days away” instead of just listing prices. If you are not sure, leave it blank — a wrong number here is worse than none.
Tick the ones you own, then enter the upgrade level of each stat — the number of times you have bought it, not the value it shows in game. The page works the value out from the level.
Search for a lab and type the level you have — not the one you are about to buy. The game's Select Research list shows the level it would buy next, so a lab reading Lv.30 there is really level 29. Tap a single lab and the line reading Lv. 8 / 20 is the true one. Only what you enter is counted.
These want the level — how many times you have bought the line — not the value on the card. The Workshop screen shows you x6.93 or 218.03%, which is what the level is worth, not the level itself. A line showing Max in game is at its maximum here.
